The Spring Breeze Community Association has been officially invited to participate in Howard County's Sustainable Homeowners Association (HOA) and Community Group Pilot Project in coordination with the Kings Contrivance Community Association.

The principle goal of the pilot is to facilitate both environmental awareness and sustainable living within the County. The County selected HOAs and Community representatives are responsible for working closely with the County to research, analyze, and update their architectural guidelines, covenants, and procedures as appropriate for our specific community.

An additional goal for our community is to promote the "Live Green Howard County" philosophy. The SBCA homeowners and the association will work on detailing sustainability issues and providing recommendations in many areas including energy use and waste management and landscaping and storm water management. The county will be dedicating many resources to this project.
